Louis Latour is one of Merchant's most respected producers in Burgundy. Renowned worldwide for the quality of its red and white wines, the house has built its reputation on a genuine propensity for innovation. Louis Latour f ¹ t in fact one of the first to produce wines outside of Burgundy. Its wines of Ardèche and C ¶ plateaux de Verdon are now popular with fans. Louis Latour f ¹ t founded in 1797. A rarity in Burgundy, Burgundy this institution is still owned by the Latour family. With an incredible palette of 64 whites and 82 reds the venerable house offers one of the best views of Burgundy. With a successful experience with the Ardeche Chardonnay, then the Grand Ardeche, Louis Latour became interested in grape Viognier Ardèche and its association with Original Chardonnay. The mo ¹ ts of Chardonnay and Viognier are assembled and vinified in a traditional manner. The fermentation takes place in both tank and stainless steel f ¹ t chun for 8 months.
