It is also the name of the second wine of Château de great Pibarnon undisputed master of red wines Méditerranée.Issu the same region, with a greater proportion of clay soils and more marked by the Grenache, this second wine is not less sweet and a Bandol bouqueté.Vendanges hand, low yields (35 hl / ha), small production area (5ha in slopes), this blend of 70% Mourvèdre and 30% Grenache is traditionally vinified and aged in stainless steel tanks 20 months partly in half barrels and partly in foudres.Le 2004 vintage is a wine of great aromatic intensity, exhaling scents of small red and black fruits, floral notes, a touch of delicate spices and pepper . The mouth is full, balanced, with silky tannins frame and stylish. A Pibarnon at heart!
