Auxey-Duresses adopted the name of climate "the Duresses" but were once two villages, Auxey the Great and the Little Auxey. Again, this town produces white wines on the south side (near Meursault) and red wines, North Slope (near Monèélie and Volnay). The white wines come from marly limestone, giving the green-gold Chardonnay with a reflection hints of hay, honey and apple pippin. The structure is solid and persistante.Très great wine from Olivier Leflaive to those who wait a few années.Aire Production: 170 ha in total including 40 ha for whites.
